About Philly Tech Sistas: Philly Tech Sistas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women of color pivot into the tech industry by providing technical skills training, leadership development, and creating a strong community of support. Our mission is to empower women through innovation, creativity, and learning, while fostering an inclusive and diverse tech workforce.
Role Overview: The Volunteer Events Coordinators will play an important role in bringing our community together through fun, engaging, and meaningful events around the greater Philadelphia area. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating experiences that promote networking, joy, learning, and self-care. The Events Coordinators will help organize a variety of events, ranging from yoga classes and game nights to winery visits and candle-making workshops.

Event Planning & Coordination:
Help plan events that align with Philly Tech Sistas' mission to foster community, learning, joy, and self-care.
Identify and contact vendors and venues to set up dates, times, and logistics for events.
Coordinate event logistics, including registration, and on-site arrangements.
