We are seeking volunteers to research stories (online) about safety issues in hospitals.
Medical errors constitute the third leading cause of deaths in the U.S. We are a public interest nonprofit website that reports on fatal events caused by unsafe conditions in hospitals.
We base our reports on investigations conducted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, court records, public documents, and interviews with witnesses and experts.
We offer an opportunity to research meaningful stories about issues that impact many families. An Inspector General report in 2018 indicated that 25% of Medicare patients experience some level of harm when hospitalized.
If interested, send resume to Bob at hospitalwatchdog@gmail.com
