Join us at Oakton Community Park for a lesson from the Oakton naturalists on invasive species. Volunteers Karin and Willow will give us a tour of the local habitat and help us identify native and invasive species. We will then work with them to clear the invasive species from this park and restore the natural habitat. Plan to be outside for about 2H, water and light snack will be provided.
Please note this opportunity is NOT for criminal justice related hours or hours for disciplinary reasons. This is a community building opportunity through the Jewish Community Center.
