To jump on board, you’ll need to complete a minimum of 40 hours of training and commit to at least 3 shifts per month. But don’t worry - we’re super flexible with training schedules, so we can work around your availability!

Mission Statement

The Union County Rape Crisis Center provides support services to victims of sexual violence over the age of 13 who were assaulted in, live in, or seek services in Union County.

Description

Services of the Union County Rape Crisis Center are available to victims and/or significant others of victims. Services include: a 24-hour hotline, accompaniment to hospitals/police stations during medical/legal proceedings, individual counseling in English and Spanish, professional consultation, in-service training, a prevention education program, and a resource center.

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • 40+ Hour Training plus a 1 year commitment of service
  • Three shifts per month, one being overnight. One overnight weekend (Fri - Sun) shift in a three-month period. Attendance at monthly CSVA meetings held the 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
