· Our yearly fundraising dinner and auction, Abundance is scheduled for Saturday, October 26. Proceeds from this special night will provide emergency food for our neighbors in Pierce County.
Description: Must be 18+ This is a great position to do with a buddy! Encourage a friend, co-worker, or spouse to join you. During the first half of the evening, these volunteers sell raffle tickets to guests. Once the live auction begins, spotters help the auctioneer to spot bidders.
· Qualifications: Friendly and outgoing, willingness to approach guests regarding buying raffle tickets, and draw attention to themselves during the live auction.

The mission of Emergency Food Network is "to provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry."
"Currently, 1 in 10 people in Pierce County face food insecurity, and this need is continuing to rise. Through our 75+ Partner Programs (food pantries, meal sites, and shelters) all over Pierce County, EFN distributed over 14 million pounds of food in 2023 to our neighbors in need, including fresh produce grown at EFN’s Mother Earth Farm. This work was made possible by our 2,000+ volunteers, who worked over 12,000 hours in 2023. Volunteer work is vital in helping EFN pursue our mission of ensuring no person goes hungry. Volunteer opportunities include the Repack Project, Home Delivery, EFN’s Mother Earth Farm, and special events throughout the year. We hope you will join us!"
