ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels West

Meals on Wheels West provides nutritious meals and a daily visit to people who are homebound and unable to shop and cook for themselves on a permanent or temporary basis.

Drop-off Driver: Picks up food from our office in Santa Monica between 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm to drop off 1-3 meals for missed deliveries. No need to return to the office once delivered. Position open: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays. It is a flexible position, and you are able to sign up for it as often as you like. Background Check Required: You must pass a background check before volunteering. Please note, our background check takes approximately 3-5 days to complete.

Meals On Wheels West is a community-based, nonprofit organization serving the areas of Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Marina Del Rey, and Venice. The organization is committed to enhancing wellness by providing quality healthy meals, nutrition education, and coordinating community resources and referrals for our homebound clients. The goal is simple...to assist neighbors in remaining in their own homes, living with independence and dignity for as long as possible.
