Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: St Mark Community Education

Hello! St. Mark Education Program is looking for motivated volunteers to lead remote English conversation groups. Our mission is to build a vibrant community where immigrants can thrive and enrich their communities by providing English and Citizenship classes as well as a network of support services. We envision thriving and inclusive communities, where immigrant residents acquire the skills and citizenship status necessary to fully participate in society. And, as immigrants enrich our community, non-immigrants also benefit.

Requirements:

  • 6 month commitment
  • 1.5 hours per week
  • Reaching out to participants weekly via email to remind them of conversation groups
  • Fill out a weekly attendance sheet
  • Able to operate Zoom

If interested, please go to https://www.stmarksesol.org/volunteer-application to apply!

Feel free to reach out to mayu2@mgh.harvard.edu with any questions or concerns!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to improve the quality of immigrants' lives and their social, economic, and educational opportunities -- and thereby improve our whole community.
