We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about human rights and languages to translate documents relating to human rights in Latin America.
We are mainly looking for translators working between English<>Spanish/Portuguese.
You do not need to have any prior experience working as a translator to apply for this volunteer opportunity.

We understand the importance of multilingual communication in today’s globalized world and we believe that, by working together with human rights defenders to break down language barriers, we can achieve greater impact and can help to create a more just and equitable world.

Latin America Solidarity Translations connects language activists with human rights defenders in Latin America for the purpose of providing language support. The language support we offer is document translation, proofreading and editing, and language classes. This language support allows human rights defenders to share their work with a wider audience, gain more support and amplify advocacy efforts.
