Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis by collecting, interpreting, and summarizing financial data from various sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, and potential financial risks or opportunities to support informed decision-making.
- Assist in developing accurate financial forecasts and models based on historical data, market trends, and organizational goals.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Attend team’s weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 12:00pm MST, Fridays at 6pm MST and Empowered Futures’ monthly General meeting
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial principles, including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial data effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
