About Us:
At Help From Hattie, we are dedicated to addressing health disparities and housing inequities through innovative programs and community partnerships. Our mission is to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their socioeconomic status, have access to quality healthcare and safe, affordable housing. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our efforts as Virtual Assistants and Outreach Coordinators.
Role Overview:
As a Virtual Assistant and Outreach Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and outreach efforts. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and committed to advancing equity in our community.
Responsibilities:
Virtual Assistant Duties:
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling meetings, and managing communications.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Help coordinate virtual events and meetings.
Outreach Coordinator Duties:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage community members and stakeholders.
- Promote our programs and initiatives through social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, partners, and volunteers.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
- Experience in outreach, community engagement, or related fields is a plus.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.

At Help From Hattie, we engage with community members to assess needs and provide the services and items they need to achieve optimal living. We conduct community health assessment days, fairs, and family fun events like bowling, relays, and community meals. We need assistance making posters, filling nags with supplies for the public, sign-in sheets, and any social media savvy folks to spread the word about our work. If you love people and want to have a great time join our team.
