About MANY HANDS PROJECT INC

Location:

1005 BRUTON CT SW, MARIETTA, GA 30064, US

Mission Statement

The Many Hands Project (MHP) is a grass roots organization that recruits, encourages, and deploys volunteers in an effort to fight food insecurity in our local communities. Our team provides homemade meals, gathers groceries and kitchen supplies and makes direct financial donations. In addition, our volunteers make contact with corporate and individual donors as well as others who want to be a part of something greater than themselves.

Description

We currently partner with several Atlanta nonprofits, most notably Feeding Georgia Families. They run a grocery delivery service to a similar client base as well as maintaining a community fridge in South Fulton. Traditionally, they have only supplied groceries and sundries but through our partnership they have been able to provide over 5,000 premade meals, all of them made by our volunteers. Those meals are well balanced and nutritious, focusing on providing proteins, fruits and vegetables, etc. In addition, those meals were made with love, using family recipes and taking the same care and energy they would put into feeding their own families.
