ORGANIZATION: VINEYARD CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP OF AUSTIN TEXAS INC

Austin Vineyard Church Garden is looking for a volunteer to help with the administration of the garden program.

Duties would include:

  1. Communicating with the church and the rest of the garden volunteers via email and/or text messaging. This could include written newsletters and photographs .
  2. Researching and sourcing parts, seeds and transplants under the direction of the garden lead.
  3. Documenting the garden activities on Monday and Thursdays to help the gardeners stay on track with individual beds and projects.
  4. Creating a calendar of events for the garden so the lead gardener can be prepared ahead of time to provide plants, fertlizer, parts, etc. This would be done over time, creating entries as the yearly cycle becomes obvious; or example, fertilizing the fruit trees in the spring.
  5. Participating in garden activities such as planting, harvesting, weeding, pest control, etc.
