Our store is staffed primarily by volunteers. As a nonprofit fair trade organization, this allows us to pay a fair wage to our artisans in 38 developing nations.
Ten Thousand Villages in Glen Ellyn has a rotating group of approximately 20 volunteers. They are passionate about our fair trade mission and enjoy talking with customers about our handcrafted products and the artisans who make them. Each shift is no longer than 4 hours.
