Volunteer Email Marketing Manager
About the Position (Essential Duties):
- Designing and implementing email marketing campaigns to promote our S2S programming, meetups, and events.
- Developing engaging content for email marketing campaigns, newsletters, announcements, and promotional materials.
- Creating segmented email lists to ensure targeted communication with different audience groups.
- Analyzing email campaign performance metrics and optimizing strategies for increased open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to align email marketing efforts with overall organizational goals and branding guidelines.
- Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in email marketing.
About You:
- Previous experience (either professional or volunteer) in email marketing.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (we currently use Wix).
- Knowledge of email marketing analytics and metrics, with the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Creativity and attention to detail in designing visually appealing email templates and graphics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Experience with graphic design and Canva to create graphics a plus.
- Passionate about mindfulness, mental health, and meditation.
Time Commitment:
This is a remote volunteer position with flexible hours. The Email Marketing Specialist is expected to commit approximately 5 hours per week, with the flexibility to adjust based on project needs and availability.

Mission Statement
Dedicated to helping mothers with school-age children on the autism spectrum. We equip them with educational, financial, and community resources. We provide children with opportunities to break social barriers through community events. This will help mothers to advocate effectively, while teaching our children about peer awareness and acceptance.
Description
Founded in 2023, Mothers And Autism Meetup has been committed to supporting families with children who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Initially established to create a supportive and safe environment for caregivers to share their experience, we have grown to address the diverse needs of target population. MAAM envisioned a supportive environment where focus on educational, and today, that vision continues to guide our work. Stress to Strength- Autism Parenting and Self-Care: Aimed at strength the support of caregiver, this transformative program provides strategies to effective in-home therapy, effective communication, behavioral challenges, understanding IEP's, building a self-care awareness. We have positively impacted 20 families through our programs and services. Through our Colorful Connection Autism Fest were able to connect 98 individuals with resources, while providing a day of fun and celebration. Our goal is to expand our targeted population in the tri-city area of Richmond, create more sensory-friendly activities for the children, as well as building a supportive team that can help support families in different capacity.
