Event Volunteers Needed - 2024 Golf Classic

Are you ready for a hole in one of an event!! Enjoy making an event run smoothly? Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for Event Volunteers in the Ocala/Gainesville area for our golf classic event, which be held Monday, December. 2, 2024, at Golden Ocala. This is an annual, signature fundraising event with proceeds providing non-medical financial support to cancer patients.

Event Date: Monday, December 2, 2024

Event Time: 6:15-2:00pm

Event Location: Golden Ocala 8300 NW 31st Lane Rd, Ocala, FL 34482

VOLUNTEER ARRIVAL & TRAINING:

• Arrival time 6 am
• Event training will be from 6:15 -6:45pm
• Volunteers in place by 7:15 am

VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Upon arrival, volunteers will be assigned responsibilities for the evening. It is important to be flexible, as your roles may change throughout the evening!

Ex: Greeting and directing guests; registration; selling raffle tickets; overseeing the silent auction area; helping sponsors find the hole they are stationed at; silent auction closing; distributing guest thank you gifts; and event breakdown!


VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS:

• Attire will be black pants and shirt with close-toed shoes.
• NO alcohol during the event.
• Breakfast and snacks will be provided during the event, and volunteers will be able to take breaks throughout the event as needed in a designated room.
