Join CureCorps in bringing joy to children at our partnered hospitals by recording yourself reading a children's book! Your video will be shared with young patients who could use a comforting voice and an entertaining escape during their hospital stay.
As a volunteer, you'll select a children's book, record a video of yourself reading it, and submit it to our team. We’ll handle the rest, ensuring your video reaches children in need of a smile. This is a perfect opportunity for those who want to make a difference from the comfort of their own home!
Requirements:
- Book Selection: Volunteers should choose a book appropriate for children aged 3-12.
- Video Quality: Ensure good lighting and clear audio. Videos should be engaging, with a friendly and warm tone.
- Submission Guidelines: Submit videos in MP4 format. All videos will be reviewed by CureCorps before being shared with the hospital.
- Consent: Volunteers must sign a media release form allowing CureCorps to distribute the video to hospitals and pediatric patients.

Mission Statement
Through CureCorps, our mission is clear: to empower younger generations and provide a supportive community for those who want to make a difference in a child’s life. Whether it’s through mentorship programs, hospital visits, or educational initiatives, we’re dedicated to creating a safe space where every child feels seen, heard, and supported. Join us on this journey of empowerment and healing. Together, we can make a difference--one story, one smile, one child at a time.
Description
CureCorps invites you to join our mission of empowerment, compassion, and healing. We encourage people of all ages to come together to help support pediatric patients who feel alone by coming together as a community to give them experiences that they will never forget. We will be organizing groups to make handmade/E-cards, digital posters, bookmarks, bracelets, and other crafts we mail to pediatric hospitals. We also host donations to deliver resource kits to hospitals, provide convenient transportation that enable earlier diagnoses, fund research programs, increase specialized training for hospital staff, and more. Finally, we organize and host monthly virtual events for children fighting diseases.
