The Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk is the largest celebration and awareness building event for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in Colorado. The event includes both a 1-mile and 2.5 mile walk, stage with live music and performances, Kids Zone, Resource Fair, and food options. This volunteer opportunity is to help with the walk event on Sunday, Sept. 29.

The mission of Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association is to assure inclusion and enhance independence of people with Down syndrome. We will achieve this by providing education, resources and support in partnership with individuals, families, professionals, and the community.

Our staff and network of parents are here to help you understand the realities of parenting a child with Down syndrome, to lend an ear and a caring shoulder, and to help guide you on your journey.
