ospice El Paso relies on volunteers to ensure that families receive all the help they need. We have a saying here at the Volunteer Office: "Volunteers are the Heart of Hospice". Our organization places a high priority on individuals and their families, so volunteering has a huge impact on them. We offer many different positions to volunteer for, including but not limited to Patient Visits/Support, Bereavement Support, and Office Administrative Support. If you are interested in volunteering, we encourage you to do so because when you volunteer, you will make someone else's life less stressful and less lonely by doing so.

Hospice El Paso provides comfort, care, hope, and choice to patient's at the end of lifes journey while guiding their loved ones through the grief process.
Hospice El Paso provides palliative care to pedicatric and adult patients with a life limiting illness of 6 months or less.
Our volunteer department at Hospice El Paso provides patient/family support. We provide companionship, respite and transportation to our patients and our families. Some patients don't have family or friends and feel lonely, depressed and can really benefit from company. Volunteers will provide a friendly, stimulating conversation. We also provide respite to give the family member a break. So that they're able to step out of the home and take care of they're own needs. Such as doctor's appointments, run errands or even take a nap. Our goal is to give the patient and family the support they need with the assistance of our wonderful volunteers.
