Tri-State Veterans Assistance Network will be hosting a tailgating party and Chili Cookoff at the Domciliary for Homeless Veterans in Ft. Thomas, KY on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Volunteers are needed to participate in the chili cookoff, which will be judged by the veterans in attendance that day. Volunteers will also socialize with the veterans, participate in tailgating activities (music, corn hole, fun, games, and food). We want to make this a fun event for the veterans while providing a warm meal.

Ensuring the psychological needs of veterans are provided for while meeting the needs for safety and security, love and belonging, and self-esteem in a nonjudgmental environment.
Our organization was founded in March 2024 in order to better meet the needs of the veterans our cofounders were trying to assist. In the first three months of our non-profit, we assisted 5 veterans with household essentials when they transitioned into housing after being homeless. We also have organized and hosted many events for veterans, including outings and luncheons. These events allow us to provide positive peer support to those that are experiencing homelessness and working towards being successful and sober individuals.
