About STAY RECRUITED

Location:

563 WEST BAY AREA BLVD 251, WEBSTER, TX 77598, US

Mission Statement

The mission of this organization is to promote and facilitate educational literacy, youth development, and any other activities that positively contribute to furthering the success of young athletes.

Description

Play for success employs the skills of professional athletes to challenge the physical and mental capacity of student athletes. As young athletes develop the physical stamina to excel in the sports arena their emotional and social skills become secondary concerns and can go under-developed. In many instances this leaves students and professional athletes vulnerable to the commitments and expectations of college programs and professional team dynamics.

Stay Recruited provides a comprehensive mentorship program that aims to help underserved youth emerge as leaders in their community though programming that focuses on educational literacy, health and wellbeing, life after sports, college preparation, athletic development, professional development, and alcohol and drug abuse prevention.

Through the Stay Recruited formal mentoring program; mentors, teachers, and coaches work together under the Leadership of former NFL player Reggie Rusk to provide participants with opportunities to engage with positive role models, increase self-confidence, decrease disciplinary action, and build future community leaders."
