Ways you can help:
Food Rescue Program
a) Help monitor the Food Rescue Program during lunch hour at one of our schools (1 hour or any minutes you have during the daytime)
b) Deliver food to the local food pantries or other nearby charitable organization (30-40 min)
c) Program management and oversight of the program (flexible)
Cultural Inclusion Program
d) Learn the Chinese Lion Dance (and be exposed to martial arts at the same time). Participate in community demos as needed. Options to learn the music or demo part available.
e) Offer to teach or develop other cultural programs. Help us expand!
* Volunteers must be cori'd to enter schools and for the safety of our children.

Ho Fan, Inc. (meaning 'good rice'), is dedicated to addressing the critical issue of food waste while supporting those in need. Our mission is to save food waste and aid other non-profits by redirecting excess or surplus food to benefit individuals who struggle with food insecurity, rather than letting it end up in the trash. Through this effort, we aim to increase sustainability, reduce food waste, and mitigate greenhouse gases, while education our children at the same time. The other support that we also do is adding community wellness and harmony through cultural education in a fun interactive way.
