Little things can go a long way in making patients feel comfortable and cared for. SHC Comfort Cart volunteers circulate through the Summit Health Cancer Center chemotherapy infusion floor, providing complimentary comfort items such as chips, assorted chocolates, granola bars, mixed nuts, hard candies, hand creams, lip balms, blankets, caps, socks and more.

Description
Summit Health Cares is committed to helping cancer patients and their families maintain their emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being throughout treatment. Our Comfort Project provides multiple resources, from one-on-one patient navigation services to movement and mindfulness classes, Reiki and other energy work sessions and more- everything we do is aimed at providing comfort and easing stress and anxiety for patients and their families fighting cancer.
