Position Summary:

The Program Leader will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of key programs within the SafeWater Initiative. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing program staff, and ensuring that all program activities align with the organization’s mission and goals. The Program Leader will also be instrumental in developing new initiatives and securing resources to support program growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Lead the day-to-day management of SafeWater Initiative’s programs, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor program staff, including volunteers and interns, ensuring that all team members are aligned with program goals and expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with local communities, partners, and government agencies to ensure the successful delivery of program objectives.
  • Resource Development: Assist in identifying and securing funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and partnerships, to support program initiatives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on program progress, challenges, and outcomes to the Program Director and other key stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Oversee program budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are within the allocated budget and that financial records are accurately maintained.
  • Advocacy and Outreach: Represent SafeWater Initiative at conferences, workshops, and other public forums to advocate for clean water access and promote the organization’s work.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for program improvement and innovation, implementing changes that enhance the effectiveness and impact of SafeWater Initiative’s projects.
