As we prepare for our annual fundraising event in Oct. 2024, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to contribute their skills to make this event unforgettable.
Responsibilities:
- Volunteers will assist vendors and other event volunteers during the set-up and break-down process.
- Unload, pack, and transport event equipment and supplies in and out of the venue.
- Install decorations and other event materials.
- Ensure all install and break-down tasks are completed efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with other event volunteers and vendors.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Renton on the day of the event.
- Event Day: 2- 9 pm, Oct. 2024
- Renton, WA
- Get a chance to promote and support a local community-driven grassroots organization’s mission to improve the lives of the Vietnamese community in King County.
- Network and connect with sponsors, volunteers, and members of the Board of Directors within and outside of Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối.

Our Services Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối offers free support services and community programs to the Vietnamese-American community in the Puget Sound region. From citizenship and ESL classes to technology lessons and citizenship support, our services assist our clients in their transition to the U.S by improving their language proficiency and enhancing their chances for employment. Each year Helping Link provides these services to hundreds of Vietnamese-Americans.

Description
Helping Link has been serving the Vietnamese-American immigrant community for twenty-five years. We provide English language, citizenship, and computer education classes for adults and seniors; job-site language training; information and referral services for our most vulnerable; and cultural events for the community. Our programs are offered in a bilingual context and in a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere.
