As a Social Media Manager Volunteer, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the organization's social media presence across various platforms. You’ll develop and implement strategies to increase visibility, engage with followers, and support the organization’s mission through creative and targeted social media efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, impressions) and provide regular reports on performance, using insights to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other volunteers and staff to coordinate social media campaigns, promotional efforts, and content that supports ongoing projects and events.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all social media content reflects the organization’s voice, tone, and branding guidelines.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve the organization’s online presence.

Our goals and services:

Organize a community service event, such as a volunteer day at a local food bank, homeless shelter, or nursing home. The event can provide an opportunity for social workers to connect with community members they may not normally interact with and build relationships with other organizations.

Organize a networking event for social workers in the community. This can be an opportunity for social workers to share their experiences, ideas, and collaborate for the betterment of the community.

Host a professional development workshop for social workers. The workshop can focus on topics such as best practices in case management, legal and ethical issues, and professional boundaries.

Plan a fundraiser for a local non-profit working towards enhancing the well-being of the community. The event can create awareness of organizations, gain financial support, and bring together the community.
