Join us for an online volunteer orientation as we discuss all types of volunteer opportunities available at UpstreamPgh such as stream restoration, event coordination, environmental education, tabling, canvassing, and much more! This is a great intro for new volunteers as well as a chance for seasoned supporters to learn about new opportunities and what UpstreamPgh has planned for the future.
The orientation is for people who will be able to attend in-person volunteering opportunities in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

We envision a region with clean water accessible to all, healthy and resilient communities, and ecosystems restored to their natural functions. Our work revolves around three pillars:
Engage: connecting people with nature through education and outreach
Advocate: working locally and regionally to advocate for policies that ensure our access to clean water
Plan/Build: building green stormwater infrastructure and restoring Nine Mile Run and its watershed
Volunteers assist with all of this work!
