Are you ready to help girls grow and shine? EmpowHERto FL, a non-profit organization in Toronto and Fort Lauderdale, needs a Director of Programming like you!

Who We Are:

We're EmpowHERto FL, and we're all about helping girls aged 14 to 21 feel strong and confident. We offer cool programs in leadership, health, money, and STEAM (science, tech, engineering, arts, math) to help them reach for the stars!

The Job:

As our Director of Programming, you'll spearhead the conception, execution, and triumph of our programs and events. Working alongside a talented team, you'll forge collaborations with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver immersive experiences for our participants.

Responsibilities:

    • Craft and execute strategic program objectives aligned with our mission.
    • Assess program efficacy and fine-tune for maximum impact.
    • Skillfully manage program finances and resources.
    • Mentor, empower, and champion our program personnel and volunteers.
    • Cultivate meaningful partnerships to propel our mission forward.
    • Identify and pursue funding avenues to fuel program expansion.
    • Maintain program protocols and procedures at peak efficiency.
    • Represent us as a beacon of our mission at community gatherings.
    • Foster synergy with marketing, content development, and fundraising units.
    • Establish standardized procedures for seamless team operations.
    • Embrace additional responsibilities with gusto!

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Mental Health, Social Services, etc.).
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in program planning and execution.
    • Demonstrated success in engaging marginalized and vulnerable youth communities.
    • Proficiency in forging genuine connections with diverse stakeholders.
    • Tech-savvy with proficiency in PowerPoint and adeptness with digital tools.
    • Immediate availability and unwavering commitment to effecting positive change.
    • Valid Background check

This opportunity requires a commitment of 10 hours per week on a volunteer basis.
