Do you want to work with an climate action organization with a record of sucess (like getting the city divested from fossil fuels)?
Are you interested in writing, graphics, social media, photography and/or video production?
If you answered yes to these then we would love your help. The 350 Chicago Communications Commitee supports 350 Chicago in our climate justice and climate education efforts, by making sure people know about them.
This is a great opportunity to make a big impact with a relatively small time commitment. We meet from 6-7 every other Tuesday night.
Depending on your role your tasks could include:
Posting to varouis social media sites or our website
Writing for our editing our newsletter
Taking pictures or video at events
Helping with our Youtube Channel

350 Chicago was formed to bring Chicagoland into the global climate movement of 350.org. Our chapter enables Chicagoans to transform despair about climate change into hope through tangible actions that make a positive impact on climate and the planet.
Want to work with a climate organization that gets things done? We were instrumental in getting the city of Chicago divested from Fossil Fuels and now we're working on getting the state pension funds divested. We also work on a wide variety of other climate and environmental justice issues and run educational initiatives like our monthly speaker series. We are happy to have experienced volunteers or total newbies, no matter your skill set we will help you find a place in the climate movement!
