Special Olympics of North Carolina (SONC) is looking for Greensboro/Guilford County individuals with healthcare backgrounds to oversee a committee that ensures local Special Olympics athletes have health certifications and are physically ready to train, compete, and achieve! Sharing your healthcare talents for a few hours every month with this great organization will help ensure its ongoing success and help hundreds of intellectually disabled Guilford County residents gain self-confidence, achieve personal goals, and have fun through athletic endeavor. Whether you have experience in healthcare, networking, volunteer management, fundraising, or just have a little spare time and want to do good, we need your help making our athletes' dreams come true!

Our staff and existing management team will work with you to accomodate your schedule and no prior Special Olympics experience is necessary. We will schedule a call or meeting to discuss the opportunity with you further; Special Olympics NC Orientation and training can all be done online.

Time Commitment: Typically one day a week spread over your schedule. Training and meetings in advance of and during events may be needed as well.
