Become A Volunteer For WAFA (Water Air Food Awards)

WAFA is a volunteer-based NGO headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. Our main activities are to identify, recognize and award community initiatives that address basic needs and collaborate with nature. By doing this, we give a voice to otherwise unknown and unheard heroes.

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing & Branding Manager. As a Marketing & Branding Manager, will be responsible for designing and overseeing the marketing and branding strategies, collaborating with internal teams and partners, and promoting sustainable solutions for clean water, clean air, and food security. The role involves developing marketing campaigns, managing brand presence, and engaging with stakeholders to amplify the impact of local community initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

● Oversee overall marketing & branding team

● Create and coordinate a long-term marketing & branding strategy and develop tactics to get the word out about WAFA and drive qualified traffic to our front door

● Develop and deploy successful marketing & branding campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution

● Develop external and internal communication plan

● Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis

● Produce valuable and engaging content for WAFA website and blogs that attract

● and convert our target groups

● Build strategic relationships with key organizations in Public & Private domain.

● Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis andallocate funds wisely

● Oversee and approve marketing & branding materials, from website banners to hard copy brochures etc

● Measure and report on the performance of marketing & branding campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals

● Analyze responses/feedbacks and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly

● Collaborate with leadership and Managers of other functional departments

We expect you to:

● Have proven experience in marketing, branding, or related fields

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to strategize and implement marketing & branding initiatives

● Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues

● Creativity and innovative thinking

● Experience in promoting social impact projects is a plus

● Enjoying empowering the Team

● Have an eye for details with an open and creative mind!

● Be fluent in English writing and verbally.

● Have availability of 8-10 hours per week minimum.

It goes without saying that you enjoy working with people and are a team player, and that you are self-driven and well-organized.

You will be working remotely and require access to a computer with fast internet connection. We communicate via emails, video calls and WhatsApp.
