We are seeking a dynamic and passionate leader to serve as the chair or co-chair of our flagship event, the 2025 Walk to Cure Arthritis Boston. The responsibilities include leading committee meetings, overseeing the big picture of the event, managing pre-event logistics, delegating roles and responsibilities to committee members, engaging with corporate and community partners, supporting team captains, being present on the event day, and handling any other necessary tasks.
Committee Chair or Co-chairs
Acts in partnership with Arthritis Foundation staff to ensure that Walk to Cure Arthritis meets financial goals and objectives.
Activities:
- Recruit and leada volunteer committee
- Create goals and strategy for the event.
- Lead committee meetings totrack progress and ensure everyone is working toward the event goals
- Identify and mentor a co-chair
- Attend Event Chair Trainings provided by the Arthritis Foundation
- Serve as the face of the Walk to Cure Arthritis in the Community.
- Liaison with Arthritis Foundation staff and the committee.
Walk to Cure Arthritis will be held at Christian Herter Park, Boston, MA, on Sunday, June 8th.
