Volunteers are needed to help run a Greenville area tennis event and post party concert that will benefit the Alzheimer's Association South Carolina chapter.
Event Details:
The event is 40 For Love - Tennis and Tunes to End ALZ and it will take place Friday, October 4 in two locations as follows:
TENNIS ROUND ROBIN : 5 -7 PM * THE KROC CENTER * GREENVILLE
PARTY & CONCERT: 7 -10:30 PM * THE FOUNDRY AT JUDSON MILL * GREENVILLE
This event is being organized by a group of tennis enthusiasts fighting for their friends and their families, who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s. Their mission...to raise funds for the local Alzheimer's Association to honor friends, family and all those who have been impacted by this devastating disease.
They are planning a fun evening of tennis and tunes for Alzheimer’s on Friday, October 4, 2024. The event will start with a fun, impactful Round Robin tennis match from 5 - 7 PM at the KROC Center in Greenville. This will be followed by an evening of special musical entertainment and light appetizers from 7 -10:30 PM at the Foundry at Judson Mill, 701 Easley Bridge Rd Unit 6030 in Greenville. All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association South Carolina chapter through the Longest Day campaign. View Event Brochure.
Volunteer Roles:
Volunteers are needed to help with event set up and tear down including tables and chairs, tents, coolers, ice, signage, security, parking, gate check in, silent auction set up, processing and item removal post event.
