COVID-19 Wall of Memories is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that runs a virtual memorial wall that displays the names and faces of people who have passed away from COVID-19 in the U.S.
One of the ways we identify those people is by researching online obituaries to excerpt and share on our site. We are seeking a volunteer to spend a full day finding online obituaries using a standardized search and copying and compiling links to those pages.
Our volunteers are required to keep in mind our core principles. Each person whose story is on our memorial wall was special, was loved, and should be remembered with honor. Their families and friends should be respected.

Description
COVID-19 Wall of Memories is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 85-1414385) which runs a website of the same name. The virtual wall is the heart of the site. It contains photos and names of people who have passed away from COVID-19. It also provides the opportunity to leave general or specific condolence messages as well as a new page and an information page, both designed to increase understanding and knowledge about the disease and its impacts. We also engage in community-based activities such as vaccination drives and spoken word memorials.
