2025-2026 Virtual Reading Tutor
ORGANIZATION: East Side Learning Center
Please visit the new page to apply.
East Side Learning Center is currently recruiting Virtual Literacy Tutor volunteers for the upcoming school year! We are a nonprofit organization that provides reading tutoring services to low income children in St. Paul that are not yet reading at grade level. Our Virtual Literacy Tutor volunteers are paired with 3-4 children for an entire school year and conduct structured one-on-one reading tutoring sessions with their students over Zoom. You do not need to be a teacher to succeed in this position, only a reader! Volunteers would serve two days per week October through May, with scheduled trainings in September to make sure all of our volunteers feel prepared for the school year. If you would like to share your joy of reading and want more information about this opportunity, feel free to reach out to yvonne.brazelton@eslcmn.org
