Volunteer with the Stewardship Team to protect wetland areas in Wolfe's Pond Park! Volunteers will contribute to the ongoing removal of the aquatic plant species Ludwigia peploides, or Creeping Water Primrose, to help restore and promote species diversity in the pond. Chest waders and kayaks will be provided in order to access the entirety of the site. Volunteers should be comfortable wearing chest waders and being in a small vessel (i.e. Canoe or Kayak). All equipment will be provided. At this time we are unable to allow children under the age of 12. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Face masks may be worn at your discretion.
