Recruitment specialist will manage sourcing, interviewing and volunteer processes. To be successful in this role, recruitment specialist should have a HR academic background and experience screening and evaluating candidates. Candidates should also be knowledgeable about labor legislation. The ideal candidate is a team leader who is able to make effective decisions quickly. This is a part-time, unpaid, virtual volunteer position. Our programs are to promote and educate on mental awareness, healthy living, social justice, and racial reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Update current and design new recruiting procedures
• Keep track of recruiting metrics
• Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
• Research and choose job advertising options
• Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
• Recommend ways to improve our organization’s brand
• Participate in volunteer events fairs and recruitment events
• Build Peace360 Initiative’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as a Recruiting Manager, Recruitment Consultant or Recruiting Coordinator
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
• Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
• Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
• Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
• Strong decision-making skills

Schedule

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Choose your own hours
• Weekends as needed
