About Us:
Symptone is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the representation of medical conditions on diverse skin tones in medical education. We strive to ensure that all individuals receive accurate and timely medical care, advocating for better healthcare and education for underrepresented communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute public relations strategies to increase awareness of Symptone’s mission and initiatives.
  • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities to support our programs and events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and public engagement.
  • Manage Symptone’s image and reputation across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
