ORGANIZATION: Special Olympics PA
Please visit the new page to apply.
Description: Experience the joy of Special Olympics as a volunteer with our program in Mercer! We are in need of a few more volunteers to provide admin support and assist with our fundraising efforts and/or our team outreach efforts. We have a few volunteers who are already in these roles and can use additional support. Local program supporters serve as advocates in the local community. They connect with the local sport teams to make sure that they are successful. They can also help with planning our fundraising events in the community.
This volunteer role is a hybrid position - some of the work can be done from home and some of the work involves being present at Special Olympics or community events. Most local program leaders volunteer 3-5 hours per week. No experience is necessary - just a willingness to support Special Olympics and it's athletes!
If you are interested in this role, we would love to connect with you to tell you more about it! Please connect with us at volunteer@specialolympicspa. org, and when you are ready to apply you can fill out a volunteer application on our website at https://specialolympicspa.org/ become-a-volunteer.
