Recruiting Organization: Bridging Gaps

General information

Duration: not specified (at least 11 months)

Commitment: 10-20 hours per week

Description:

About

Founded by Janina Peter and Malish James, Bridging Gaps introduced a pay-it-forward community microloan model to address food security and poverty among refugees. By merging charity and microfinance, we empower entrepreneurs and create sustainable financial structures. Our digital platform secures donations from Europe and the global north, transforming them into microloans that ripple through the community. Unlike traditional repayable microloans, our model is based on a pay-it-forward approach. As businesses thrive, loans are passed on to new entrepreneurs in the same community, creating a sustainable ripple effect of new initiatives and, long-term, new independent financial structures. Donors receive continuous updates on the impactful stories of the entrepreneurs they support through our digital platform, fostering a sense of connection and engagement with the community. This innovative approach not only addresses immediate needs but also promotes lasting, self-sustaining initiatives. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Volunteer NGO Partnership Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and manage relationships with partner organizations while contributing to the growth and success of our mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement partnership strategies to build relationships with NGOs and other relevant organizations.
  • Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities that align with Bridging Gaps' mission and goals.
  • Manage and develop ongoing partnerships, ensuring mutual benefits and successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate joint projects and initiatives with partner organizations to maximize impact.
  • Communicate regularly with partners to maintain strong relationships and address any concerns.
  • Represent Bridging Gaps at meetings, events, and conferences to promote partnerships and network with potential collaborators.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in drafting partnership agreements and proposals as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in partnership management or a related field.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to convey ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
  • High level of integrity and dependability.
