Recruiting Organization: Ascension St. Mary Hospital - Chicago

Ascension Saint Mary - Chicago is looking for friendly, compassionate volunteers with excellent customer service skills to serve our patients and visitors.

We have opportunities available in many departments including: Associate Health, Cardiology, Food Services, Front Desk Greeter, GI Lab, Inpatient Care units, Women's Health Program, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Shipping & Receiving, Surgery, ED, Rehab Services, Infection Control, and Medical Staff.

Volunteers are assigned to a department by Volunteer Services based on the medical center's needs.

Volunteer Requirements: Positive and friendly attitude, reliable, responsible, and excellent communication and customer service skills

• Minimum age of 16 at the time of application
• Able and willing to dedicate a minimum of 100 hours within a year
• Volunteer 4 hours a day in a weekly basis
• Pass a background check
• Tuberculosis test and annual flu vaccine (during flu season): may be completed at our Associate Health Department (no charge to you)
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, mumps, rubella, varicella, TDAP or lab test to verify immunity (must receive health clearance to proceed)
• Drug test for legal and illegal substances (must be completed with our Associate Health Department
