Come join our amazing team on Saturday, August 29th from 1:00-3:00 for our open volunteer orientation. We have lots of opportunities for you to help our dogs and cats: fundraising events, social media, maintenance and handyperson, gardening, website maintenance, and of course working with our guests; the dogs and cats.
Volunteering at the shelter is a great way to give back to the animals and your community. This will give you an opportunity to meet Hazel. Hazel, just a baby was shot in the spine with a bb gun, paralyzed and scared. Now rehabilitated through the hard work of volunteers like you.

Our shelter is founded on the principle of trying to find good, adoptable and loving homes for the animals and help stop the killing of over 75,000 abandoned animals in southern Florida.
Description
Volunteering at the shelter is a great way to make friends, some will be furry and give back to the animals and your community. Dogs and Cats Forever, Inc. has many opportunities to serve the needs of the animals that we are privileged to take care of and love: From walking dogs, playing with the reception, assisting with general operations and upkeep of the shelter, cats display in pet store, fundraising and much more. There is something for everyone.
