Event Bartender

ORGANIZATION: Disabled American Veterans Sonoma County Chapter 48



Key Details:

- Position: Event Bartender

- Incentive: $150 per event + tips

- Location: Petaluma Veterans Memorial Building, 1094 Petaluma Blvd S, Petaluma, CA

-When: Usually Saturday evenings (4:00 pm to 11:00 pm or 5:00 pm to 12:00 AM); occasionally Fridays.

All bartenders must complete the Online California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training in addition to learning skills related to event hosting and customer service.

Here's the procedure for certification:

1. Register with ABC: Visit the ABC portal using the following link to register for the "California Responsible Beverage Service Training" and get approval from ABC to take it. The cost is $9.00. ABC Online Services (ca.gov)

2. Complete the Course: Once approved, go to the following link to complete the California ABC-approved alcohol server course; the cost is $12.95 and takes about two hours to complete. Once approved, go to California Responsible Beverage Service Training (sellerserveronline.com)

3. Certificate Validity: The certificate is valid for three years, and you can use it to bartend at California locations.

We will reimburse you $22.00 for these courses and the resulting certificate after the bartender has served at two events.

We are creating a pool of eligible bartenders who can be called upon to serve at community and private events. If you know of any community members who would be interested in this opportunity, we would greatly appreciate you sharing this opportunity.
