Volunteers assist patients and family members in the facility by offering comfort items, assisting administrative staff, and other duties as assigned. Volunteers may have the opportunity to interface with patients as appropriate under the direction of the staff members. Other tasks that volunteers may assist with are tidying up the family room and public spaces, offering wayfinding assistance, organizing department documents, and other pertinent information.
