Baby2Baby Fall Internship 2024 - Program Intern

ORGANIZATION: Baby2Baby



Baby2Baby is seeking a hard-working, mission-driven intern to join our fast-paced office starting this Fall 2024 for 12 weeks for 8-12 hours/week.

Why: With a program focus, this intern will have the opportunity to intern will gain professional development skills while learning from the Baby2Baby team about the day-to-day operations of a non-profit organization.

Who: Baby2Baby provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing, and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. In the last 13 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 450 million items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools as well as children who have lost everything in the wake of disaster.

What to Expect: With a program strategy focus, this intern will have the opportunity to learn from the Directors of Baby2Baby's Program Department along with our Chief Operations Officer. Reporting to the Director, Program Partnerships & Operations with a dotted line to the Director, Disaster Relief and Strategy, the Intern(s) will gain experience with research projects related to program operations and strategic growth.

Research the nonprofit landscape of the U.S. and potential Baby2Baby partner organizations

Assist with hiring processes to scale current projects

Shadows event preparation and other specialty programming.

Completes special projects as requested.

Internships are unpaid.

What's Required:

All interns MUST be eligible to receive academic credit with an undergraduate or graduate degree in progress.

Availability 8-12 hours a week (flexible) during business hours in person at Baby2Baby's offices in Culver City.

Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel) and the Google Apps suite.
