ORGANIZATION: Idealist.org

Recruiting Organization: HAPHE

Today, nearly 70% of young adults report experiencing stress and anxiety, with over 30% feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of university life. HAPHE is committed to preventing trauma-led depression by empowering students with the tools and support they need to thrive emotionally and academically. Are you ready to make a difference on your campus and promote mental well-being?

Join HAPHE as a Campus Ambassador and play a key role in creating a supportive and resilient campus community.

Your Role:

  • Engage and Inspire: Organize and lead in-person workshops and advocacy sessions to raise awareness about mental health and well-being. Encourage students to explore diverse opportunities and build resilience.
  • Event Participation: Host engaging events every Thursday to Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., to promote mental wellness and community engagement.
  • Digital Campaigns: Support three digital campaigns throughout the year to extend HAPHE’s message and connect with the wider student body.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Guide and mentor a group of HAPHE volunteers on campus, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Network Building: Establish connections with campus clubs and organizations to strengthen HAPHE’s presence and reach.

Why Volunteer?

  • Make a Difference: Be a catalyst for change by promoting mental health awareness and preventing trauma-led depression among your peers.
  • Develop Skills: Gain leadership experience, improve event planning abilities, and enhance your communication skills.
  • Community Impact: Help create a more inclusive and supportive campus environment, encouraging students to thrive both academically and personally.
