Our construction team builds on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays all year round.

The build day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m.

Volunteers will meet the site supervisor at the build address, sign in, complete volunteer waivers, and then receive a brief morning orientation and safety talk before starting work.

No construction experience is necessary. We have trained professionals to walk you through each task.

We supply all the tools and materials for the day, including safety glasses and hard hats. You are welcome to bring your own, though, if you’d rather.

Construction volunteers must be 16 years or older. Those who are 16 or 17 must have parent’s permission on a special youth waiver.

Construction jobs range from prepping foundations to the finishing touches.

We will have tasks for everyone. If you have certain physical limitations, please let the construction staff know and they will find a safe job for you.

Mission Statement

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Description

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Through our 2020 Strategic Plan, Habitat for Humanity will serve more people than ever before through decent and affordable housing.
