¡ADELANTE LATINA! IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING VOLUNTEER TUTORS FOR THURSDAYS FROM 4PM-6PM!
¡Adelante Latina! is a free, three-year college access program for academically driven Latina students attending Baltimore City public high schools. The goal of ¡Adelante Latina! is to help students overcome many socioeconomic and academic barriers so that they are accepted into college with adequate financial support.
¡Adelante Latina! is searching for qualified tutors to help students one-on-one improve their academic performance, specifically in reading comprehension and writing. Tutoring will be held on Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm at Notre Dame of Maryland University starting in September 2024 and for the duration of the school year.
Tutors typically volunteer for three years, helping the same student from sophomore to senior year.
