Back-End Developer

Hours: 6-8 hours per week
Location: Remote, Global
Reports to: Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Role Overview: As a Back-End Developer at Yuvoice, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our platform. Your expertise will ensure that Yuvoice operates smoothly, securely, and efficiently, supporting our mission to inspire social change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic and databases.
  • Build and maintain APIs for our platform’s front-end and mobile applications.
  • Optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug server-side issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with strong programming skills.
  • Proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
