At Empowered Futures, we are dedicated to creating confident, emotionally intelligent, and resourceful adults through self-empowerment and business mentorship to help them build their capability and reap their full potential.

This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle (posting job ads, screening applications, conducting interviews with shortlisted candidates).
  • Source applicants through various mediums including cold outreach, social media, and headhunting.
  • Collaborate with committee members to discuss talent needs and other HR initiatives.
  • Attend weekly team meetings every Tuesdays at 10:30am MDT and Saturdays at 10am MDT

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience or studies related to Talent Acquisition or Human Resources is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
