STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that
specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum
that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology,
engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students
from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM
literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields,
yielding globally competitive results.
Location: Remote
Time commitment: 2 hours a week
Duration: 3 Months

of innovators? Join our STEM Activity Planning Team and help design
engaging, hands-on activities that bring the wonders of science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics to life for young learners!
Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative STEM Activity Planning Team
Member to assist in developing and executing engaging STEM activities. In
this role, you will collaborate with a team to design STEM kits and
activities that are both educational and exciting for students. Your work
will help make STEM learning accessible and enjoyable for a diverse
audience of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
 Collaborate with the team to design and create fun, educational
take-home STEM kits.
 Develop easy-to-follow instructions and supporting materials to
guide students and parents through each activity.
 Ensure that kits are age-appropriate, safe, and align with our
educational goals.
 Brainstorm and plan innovative STEM activities that can be
integrated into our programs and events.
 Test and refine activities to ensure they are engaging, effective, and
accessible for a diverse range of students.  Identify and source materials needed for each STEM kit, ensuring
quality and cost-effectiveness.
 Assist in assembling kits, making sure each one is complete and
ready for distribution.
 Work with educators to align kits with curriculum standards and
learning objectives.
 Support the distribution of kits at events, schools, and community
centers.
 Bring fresh ideas to the table, whether it's a new kit concept or an
innovative way to present an activity.

Requirements:
 Proven experience in educational activity planning or a similar role
is advantageous.
 Strong portfolio of creative projects or activities is a plus.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
 Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative STEM
activities.
 Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability
to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
 Passion for STEM education and a commitment to inspiring and
educating young learners.
 Ability to engage with a diverse global audience and a strong
commitment to inclusivity.
